A new church for Key West.

TheReef.Church is the online home of The Reef, a new Jesus-centered church preparing to launch in Key West, Florida, in Spring 2028. This site serves as a gathering point for people who are curious about faith, looking for community, or searching for a church that feels different. Here you can discover our story, what we believe, how to get involved before launch, and how to partner with us through prayer and giving.

We are building this church for the people of Key West, longtime residents, newcomers, seasonal workers, and visitors alike. Whether you have followed Jesus for years or are just beginning to ask questions, The Reef exists to create space for belonging, hope, and purpose. We gather on Thursday nights in Old Town, and we are forming a launch team now to help shape every part of what this church will become.

The Reef is sent by Heartland Community Church in Medina, Ohio, and planted by Nate and Shawna Walker. Nate brings about ten years of pastoral ministry experience across Indiana, Nevada, and Ohio, and the family will move to Key West in spring 2027 to begin the work of building this community from the ground up. This website is built and maintained by The Reef team to keep you connected to the journey from the very beginning.
